William John Ozimec, 79, of Mantua, Ohio joined our Lord Jesus Christ Sunday January 10, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on June 29, 1941, the son of the late Rudolph and Anna (Palyian) Ozimec. He was a longtime resident of Mantua, where he raised his 6 Children with his devoted wife of 58 years, Patricia Ozimec, whom he married on January 2, 1963. Along with his faith he instilled in all those he loved, he leaves behind his children Dawn (Vince) Gambino of Chagrin Falls, Michael (Dawn) Ozimec of Stow, Sean, Matthew, Mark (Missy) Ozimec, and Michelle (Curt) Salisbury, all of Mantua. Also surviving are his grandchildren Ashley, Jaimie (Richard), Brittany (Loren), Adam (Jessica), Josh (Jenna), Sarah (Devin), Jacob (Adrianna), Hannah (Jeremiah), Kaitlyn, Mark Jr., Hailey, Xander, Brandon and 11 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Ozimec was the owner-operator of his Silk Screen business for many years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. A gentleman of many interests, he will be remembered for reading his bible daily, and his strong Christian faith. Woodworking, building bird houses, and camping with his children and grandchildren created lasting memories for those who will truly miss him. A Celebration of Life will be planned for all those who knew and loved him to attend at a later date. A private family viewing will be held at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
