Timothy R. McCabe, 57 years of age, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2021 at his residence. Born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on January 8, 1964, he was the son of Milo and Jeanne (Schraa) McCabe. Tim was a 1982 graduate of Vermillion High School, in Vermillion, South Dakota, and in 1984, he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served with honor, obtaining the rank of Sargent. A longtime resident of Shalersville, he had been employed at Moldrite in Twinsburg as a Tool & Die Maker. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, especially ice fishing with his daughter Taylor, and showing always being there for her sporting events, traveling throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada with Tammy, and was a true Green Bay Packers fan. On April 27, 1991, he married Tammy (Stevens) McCabe who along with his daughter Taylor McCabe survive at their home. Also surviving is his mother Jeanne McCabe; siblings James (Gloria) McCabe, Tina (Ron) Buus and Peg (Pete) Schmitz. His mother-in-law Mary Stevens, and sisters-in-law Shelly Jeffries, Connie (Ken) Rutter and Jamie (Jason) Stevens also survive. He was preceded in death by his father Milo McCabe. Calling hours will be Monday February 8, 2021 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where military honors will conclude with the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
