Steven Morrison

Steven R Morrison, 45 years of age, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his residence. Born at Ravenna, Ohio on December 31, 1977, he was the son of Harold J. and Rebecca (Mills) Morrison. He was a lifetime resident of the Mantua-Shalersville-Freedom areas, where he graduated from Crestwood High School in 1996. Along with  his father, Steven, operated Freeport Farms in Shalersville where he maintained his love for farming. Riding his “RZR”, camping, being outdoors,  and devoting special times with Cyrus made up his life. Survivors include his son Cyrus Morrison, daughter Avery Malotte,  mother Becky (Ben) Sweatland, siblings Amanda Morrison, Jennifer (David) Morris, Emily (Cody) Patchin, Jessica (Robert) Jusek, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His father Harold preceded him in death. Calling hours will be Sunday,  March 5, 2023 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44 Mantua, Ohio from 2:00P.M. – 4:00 P.M., where a brief service will then begin with Pastor Chad Delaney officiating.  A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Sugar Bush Golf Club in Garrettsville from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
