SHALERSVILLE

Robert L. Putt, 43 years of age of Shalersville,  passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at University Hospital, PMC in Ravenna, Ohio.  Robert was born on November 14, 1978 in Ravenna, Ohio the son of Russell and Virginia (Brooks) Putt. He was a lifetime area resident, and a 1998 graduate of Crestwood High School, and was employed as a truck driver the past 4 years at XPOLogistics. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed working on old cars, and a good beer. He would work side by side with Austin on his car, and enjoyed spending time shooting guns with both Austin and Brandon. Robert was always there for his friends, and will be remembered as slightly hard headed, and stubborn. “Robert Was Robert”. He is survived by his sons Austin and Brandon, and his former spouse Erica Putt, all of Streetsboro; parents Russell and Virginia Putt, and his twin sister Wendy Connair, all of Shalersville, and brother Allen Putt of Ravenna. Calling hours will be Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., where his funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. (The Family Requests That Everyone Attending Visitation And His Service Wear Facial Coverings). Final resting place will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
