Robert Douglas “Mr.Rob” Jackson, 53 years of age, passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Ravenna, Ohio on March 25, 1967, he is the son of Douglas and Karen (Quicksall) Jackson. Rob grew up in the Mantua area, and was a 1985 graduate of Crestwood High School, residing in Streetsboro since 1996. He was a faithful employee at Spitzer Chevrolet as an automotive technician for the past 35 years. He had a passion for cars that included his Harley and 1972 Nova. Rob remained a huge Cleveland Browns fan no matter what the final season record was. Known as “Mr. Rob”, and “Brother Rob”, he will forever be remembered by family and friends that everybody loved him, just as he did for all he came to know. Rob is survived by his beloved parents Doug and Karen Jackson of Mantua, his dear brother Mark Jackson of Concord Twp., his devoted wife Melodie Roth at home, his niece Kristin Belcher of Streetsboro, dear nephews Steven and Adam, and special step-sons John Keffer of Newton Falls, Daniel Roth of Champion, and Ryan Roth of Moreland Hills. He was the loving grandson of Wayne and Gladys Jackson, and Cecil and Elizabeth Quicksall who preceded him in death. Visitation will be Wednesday May 27, 2020 using social distancing at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M., where his funeral service will then begin at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Henderson of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bainbridge. Final resting place will then follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Twp., Ohio. For those unable to attend the funeral service, procession to the cemetery will form at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M.
