Peggy Jean McDaniel, 85 years of age, passed away Monday May 11, 2020. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary (Bell) Boling. A resident of Mantua since 1977, she had been employed at TOPS Food Services in Cleveland as a supervisor for vending machines, and later at Jellystone Park in Mantua as an office assistant. Peggy enjoyed playing Bingo at St. Joseph’s Church in Mantua, and had a passion for anything that included butterflies. Most of all, Peggy loved playing with her great-grandchildren who will truly miss her, as will her other family members. On August 18, 1951, she married Howard McDaniel who preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by her devoted children James (Laurie) Mc Daniel of Ravenna, and Michael (Jessica) McDaniel of Mantua, her dear siblings Wayne Boling, David McDaniel, Loriene Boling and Margie Page; her loving granddaughter Jackie, and great-grandchildren Lilly and Nolan. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
