Patricia A. Pietro, 80 years of age of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her residence. Born in Barberton, Ohio on July 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Januska) Palek. A graduate of John Adams High School, Mrs. Pietro was a homemaker, a member Portage Faith United Methodist Church, and a Streetsboro resident the past 44 years. Mrs. Pietro gave freely of herself with the Streetsboro Schools reading program, Portage County Board of Elections, and Portage County Meals on Wheels. An avid reader, she will forever be remembered as a giving, selfless, caring lady , who never asked for anything, always there to support and love her family in all of their activities. On August 30, 1958, she married Michael J. Pietro who survives at home. Also surviving are her children, Michael W. (Vicki) Pietro of Windham, Jane Pietro of Kent, and Amy (Richard) Nichols of Burton; brother William (Marianne) Palek of Port Clinton; 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Grandson, Brandon Smallwood preceded her in death. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M., where her funeral service will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Final resting place will then follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. (While Not Required, All Attending Are Encouraged To Wear Facial Coverings).
