Mildred (Weil) Hubach, age 90, of Aurora passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2020. She was born March 21, 1930 in Bronxville, NY. When she and her family moved to Aurora in 1964, Mildred was quickly known for her love of gardening, flower arranging, and Gingerbread men. She was a member of the Church in Aurora, Charter Member and past president of the Aurora Historical Society, Life Member of the Portage County Historical Society, member of the Aurora Garden Club, Aurora Study Club, and Circle A of her Church. Mildred was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, NY and proud graduate of Michigan State University Class of 1952. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Louis Hubach, her parents Norman and Louise (Kling) Weil, and sister Barbara Bielenberg. She is survived by her son Bruce (Gretchen) Hubach of Hudson, daughter Lynn Hubach of Aurora, granddaughters Gwen (Tommy) Bowen of Hudson and Beth Hubach of Columbus as well as her nieces and nephews. During these times of COVID-19, private family-only burial will take place at Markillie Cemetery in Hudson, Ohio with Rev. Kevin Horak officiating. Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hale Farm and Village, the Church in Aurora, or a charity of your choice.
