Michael J. Husarcik Sr., 59 years of age of Mantua, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. Born on December 2, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Edward and Geraldine (Fafrak) Husarcik. He had been a lifetime Chardon resident and was a 1981 graduate of West Geauga High School. Michael had been employed in the produce department at Heinens in Chardon. He enjoyed going to casinos, but most importantly the time he spent with his grandchildren. Survivors include his sons Michael Husarcik Jr., David (Amber) Husarcik, and his mother Geraldine Hogue all of Mantua. His brothers Edward (Carrie) Husarcik of Arizona, Steve Husarcik of Cleveland, and 6 grandchildren also survive. His father Edward and brother Joseph preceded him in death. No calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at Friendship Alliance Church, 19126 St. Rt. 44, Auburn Township, Ohio, on Friday April 28, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.. Final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery, Mantua Village, Ohio.
