Mary Karen Nemeth, 78 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Parma, Ohio. Mrs. Nemeth was God’s Gift to Us on March 29, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Cyril and Betty Snanigan. A longtime Portage County resident, she had resided in Shalersville since 2014. A homemaker, Mrs. Nemeth enjoyed watching birds, gardening, and reading her Bible, and was a member of Cornerstone Church of Aurora. On September 21, 1968, she married Gerald A. Nemeth who preceded her in death in 2003. Her sister Beverly Snanigan also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Lisa (Roy) Huffman, Jr. of Shalersville, sons Gerald J. (Sonya) Nemeth of South Carolina, and Joseph Larson of Missouri; brother Paul ( Connie) Tursic of Marengo, Ohio, and 3 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M., where her funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M.
