Karen A. Phillips, 57 years of age, passed away Sunday January 19, 2020 at her residence. Karen was born in Bedford, Ohio on October 20, 1962, the daughter of the late Lincoln and Katherian (Jenkins) Galbraith. A lifetime Garrettsville area resident, she was a 1980 graduate of James A. Garfield High School. Karen had been a member and Past Matron of Crescent Chapter O.E.S., and attended the Garrettsville United Methodist Church. She had been employed in the data entry department of Joseph Industries in Streetsboro. She enjoyed crocheting, her Thursday morning bowling league, the time she and her husband traveled the United States, and the cherished times she spent with her loving grandchildren and family. On November 9, 1985, she married Bradley E. Phillips, Sr. who survives at home. Also surviving are her sons Bradley E. (Kim Sheller) Phillips, Jr. and Brian E. Phillips, both of Garrettsville, her brother Gerry Galbraith of South Dakota, and her grandchildren Alexis, Isabella, Naomi, Kelsey, Mason and Henry. She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward and Raymond Galbraith. Calling hours will be Wednesday January 22, 2020 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon where her funeral service will then begin at Noon.
