John W. Hull, 83 years of age, passed away Friday April 23, 2021 at his residence. Born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on February 9, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Parchetta) Hull. Growing up on his parent’s Dairy farm, he soon developed an appreciation for the land around him. He loved his garden, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and also learned the art of woodworking. A longtime resident of Shalersville, John had been employed at Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Stamping Plant from 1957 until he retired in 2000. On April 5, 1957, he married Joyce Hull who preceded him in death on January 1, 2021. Also preceding was his son Michael Hull, and sister Joanne Titchenell. Surviving is his son Charles Hull at home, daughter Renee Anderson of Oak Island, N.C., his loving grandkids Brianna, Amanda, Andrew, Cory, Niklas, Zachary, and great-grandkids Haley and Finn. Visitation will be Wednesday April 28, 2021, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon, where his funeral service will then begin at noon.
