Harold R. “Bob” Simcox, 82 years of age, formerly of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. A resident of Kent the past 6 years, Bob had been employed at General Motors in Lordstown from 1969 until his retirement in 1993. He served with Honor in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. Bob will be remembered for his care of so many people, and the love he had for all of his grandchildren. Survivors include his children Steve (Kristi) Williams of Girard, Ohio, Tammy (Terry) Williamson of Florida, Cynthia (Rick Peters) Simcox of Akron, and Shirlee (Eugene) Manhard of Kent. Additional survivors include his siblings James Simcox of Streetsboro, Jack (Betty) Simcox of Warren; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His brothers Arthur Simcox, Frank Simcox, and sister Nancy Hugle all preceded him in death. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held.
