Gary M. Zorn, 69 years of age, passed away Friday May 28, 2021 at UH-Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio following a brief illness. Born on January 21, 1952, in Akron, Ohio the son of the late Gerald and Charlotte (Schnoblin) Zorn. A longtime resident of Mantua, Gary was a 1970 graduate of Crestwood High School, following which he attended and graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Architecture. Gary had been employed at Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Division, as a plant manager for over 35 years. Gary truly loved fishing, hunting, a gun enthusiast, and motorcycles, often traveling to enjoy these pastimes, as well as trips to be with his family, especially the grandchildren whom he cherished so much. He will be remembered as a man large in size, whose heart was just as big for those he loved. Survivors include his devoted children Jason (Deidre) Zorn, and Michele (Tim) Taylor, both of Euless, Texas, loving grandchildren, Elisha, Briley, and Riker. While not having blood brothers, he is survived by his surrogate brothers, Ray Borling, Jim Skupski, Pat Runevitch, and Greg Baran, all of whom will truly miss their long lasting bond. He was preceded in death by his sister Debra “Debi” Aldrich in 2020. No calling hours or services.
