Dolores Ann Wenberg, 89 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Saturday March 21, 2020 at University Hospital-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Dolores was God’s Gift to Us on September 5, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo and Sarah (Burk) Walsh. Dolores was a longtime area resident, and had been employed at Bristol-Myers Squibb retiring in May of 1996. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua for over 58 years, and was a PSR instructor at the church for 10 years, and a member of the Senior Center. Above all else, family was the most important part of her life, and her love for them, and their love for Dolores will forever be cherished. She is survived by her daughters Nancy (Greg) Cline of Auburn Twp. and Karen (Jeff) Flory of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren Matthew Wilson, MacKenzie Cline, Brennen Cline, Ryan (Erica) Flory, Eric (Leeanne) Flory; great-grandchildren Colin, Travis and Sarah, Kayla, Kearsten and Ethan Flory. Her brother Edward (Maryann) Walsh of Mentor, and beloved friend Irene Welling of Mantua, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews also survive. On June 18, 1949 she married Hugo Wenberg who preceded her in death on April 26, 1974, as did her siblings Eileen Stocum, Leo Walsh, Cecilia Ryan and Micheal Walsh. No calling hours. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday March 28, 2020 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, Mantua, Ohio with Rev. Edward Stafford officiating. Final resting place will then follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Township, Ohio. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
