Delbert "Chip" McMillen

Delbert R. “Chip” McMillen, Jr., 74 years of age, of Aurora,  passed away Friday, April 29, 2022.  Chip was born on May 31, 1947 in DuBois, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Delbert R. and Dorothy (Fuller) McMillen, Sr. He had been an Aurora resident the past 40 years, where he was a member of Aurora VFW, Post #2629, and was very active with the Post Color Guard.  Chip had been employed at Labor Union #310 in Cleveland, following which he worked at FORTEC Medical in Streetsboro as a driver.   He enjoyed fishing and camping, and will always be remembered for his willingness to help others.  Chip is survived by his children Richard (Sylvia) McMillen of Mantua, Deborah (David) Moore of Kent, and his grandchildren Zack, Cody, Robert, Matthew, and Samantha.  His son Sean preceded him in death.  Calling hours will be Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail, at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio, 44255, from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M., where his funeral service will then begin.  Final resting place will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Township, Ohio, where members of Aurora VFW, and Mantua American Legion Post #193, will provide a military tribute to honor Chip’s service.  His video tribute, condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
