David E. Oros, 72 years of age, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at his residence. Born in Warren, Ohio on March 31, 1949, he was the son of the late James and Anita (Clapp) Oros. He grew up in Nelson Twp., and was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School. He was then employed most of his life in farming, and as a truck driver. He served with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Oros is survived by his daughter Rochelle Campbell of Willoughby, step-sons Steve Campana of Michigan, and Tony Campana of Mantua; aunts Shirley Anderson of Dacula, Georgia, and Sandy Oros; grandchildren Makynzie and Kaiden, and longtime friend Doug Bailey of Ravenna. His sister Carol Wilson preceded him in death. No calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Twp. Full military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard team, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
