David Andrew Bonner, 74 years of age, son of Clifford M. and Katherine M. (Parsche) Bonner Sr. Born on Halloween a long time ago…. at 8:29 A.M. at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Dave was greeted into heaven by all the angels on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10:34 A.M. at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus surrounded by his loved ones. Graduate of Kenston High School, class of 1967, he then served in the United States Navy from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam Era as an aviation machinist mate & wing walker. Dave and Lisa finally found each other and were married on February 10, 2002, third times the charm. Dave was a Master Mason for Golden Lodge #245 F. & A.M. A successful entrepreneur, farmer, CDL semi driver, and certified diesel mechanic. When the stars lined up on 2018, Dave was blessed with a lung transplant. Survivors include his wife Lisa, his daughters; Casey (Don) Davis, Faith (Scott) Lilly, Heather (Justin) Crowder; sons Jack (Angel) Riggs, Mike and Mark Papp, and many grandchildren. Siblings; known as the Fossil Club, Carol (Pete) Clemens, Cliff Bonner, Judy Cullen “BBC”, Richard (Rae Lynn) Bonner, Peggy “Taters”, Bob (Cupcake) Smith, Kathy “Booty” (John) Franks, Billy (Chris) Bonner, and Patty (Lou) Duplago. Hundreds of nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Preceded in death his parents, son David Jr., sister Linda (Ed) Leigh, brother-in-law Don Cullen, and Toni Bonner. His favorite things were farming, trucking, his deep appreciation for the mountains of West Virginia, family, people, camping and Bob and Tammy. His favorite terms of endearment were Mooning and flipping the bird. He will be greatly missed by all our friends and Boy do we have a butt load!! Until we meet again, See Ya. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 11, 2023, at The Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail, at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio, 44255, from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M., where his funeral service will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 12:00 Noon. Final resting place will follow at the Bonner Family Farm Cemetery in Freedom Twp. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Dick Bonner, Cliff Bonner, John Bonner, Joe Bonner, Billy Bonner, Scott Lilly, Alex Slaker and Bob Davis.
