Christopher P. Prokes, 37 years of age, a lifetime Shalersville-Mantua resident, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 12, 1985 in Cleveland Ohio, the son of Nino Ceccarelli and Patricia Prokes. Chris had attended Crestwood Schools, and had been employed as a machinist at CFS Towers. Chris enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, building model cars, and especially the times he spent with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Jessica; his children Brayden, Jace, Ailena and Rhiannon; his sister Jennifer (Joshua Serva) Prokes; father Nino; grandfather Richard Quigley; niece Lillian Serva; aunts Karen Dolan and Sandra Prokes; cousins Frank and Kelly, and step- dad Nick Ferraro. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia, and grandmother Jean Quigley. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Green Family Funeral Home and Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Final resting place will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Township, Ohio.
