Carol June Nutter, 96 years of age, passed away Friday April 2, 2021. Born in Waterloo, Iowa on June 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Jane (Cook) Cutshaw. She was a longtime resident of Windham and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, where she was active with the Ladies Guild. She also enjoyed tie spent with the Red Haters. Carol loved dogs, and got her last Dachshund at the age of 87. She had been employed as a lineman at Eveready Nymold until her retirement. Carol, and her husband Robert. enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winters for many years. On May 31, 1946, she married Robert Nutter who preceded her in death in 2002. Survivors include her children Ronald (Irene) Nutter of Deland, Florida, Barbara (Robert) Seymour of California, Susy (Denny) McManus of Windham, Mary (John) Tresino of Troy, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her 4-legged child “Gracie” in March of 2021. No calling hours. A graveside service at Windham Township Cemetery will be announced.
