Barbara L. Riley, 69 years of age of Streetsboro, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was God’s Gift to Us On July 16, 1952 in Garfield Hts., Ohio, the loving daughter of the late James and Marianne (Trimbath) Freechack. A resident of Streetsboro the past 20 years, Barbara grew up in Aurora where she attended Aurora High School, graduating in 1970. She had been employed at Arhaus Furniture in Walton Hills as an inventory controller, following which she was an office cashier at Heinen’s in Aurora from where she retired in 2015. Church was very important to Barbara, and she served the Lord as a member of New Life Church in Aurora. RV camping including trips to Florida provided her family special times to share their love for each other. On December 28, 1992, she married Steven Riley who survives at home. Also surviving are her daughters, Jackie Brown of Streetsboro, Heidi (David) Fredrickson of Aurora, Heather Center of Streetsboro, Krisey (Nick) Coleman of West Virginia; brother James Freechack of Aurora, sister Jane Petro of Streetsboro; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Her sister Janis Stepnicka preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022 12:00 Noon at New Life Church, 911 Orchard Avenue, Aurora, Ohio 44202, where visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Officiating will be Pastor Stuart Ross. Final resting place will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro.
