William H. Head, 68 years of age, passed away Thursday August 15, 2019 at his residence. Bill was born in Pineville, Kentucky on June 2, 1951, the son of Raymond and Gladys (Ellison) Head. A lifetime resident of the Mantua area, he had been employed as a Raymon Operator at A.M. Castle Metals in Bedford Hts., retiring after 37 years of service. Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, and teaching his son at an early age how to fish. Bill had a smile and beard that were his trademark, and his opinions on politics were well known…Bill was never wrong, just a little less right once in awhile. On June 24, 1972, he married his beloved wife and best friend, Linda L. (Kastelic) Head who survives at home. He is also survived by his devoted children Shawn (Tammi) Head of Akron and Melissa Miller of Mantua; his dear sisters Janice (Danny) Reese of Florida and Brenda (Jim Burke) Whitaker of Tennessee; his loving grandchildren Blake, Chase, Bethany, Jason and Summer, and great-grandchild Aubree. Preceding him in death were his dear brothers John R. Head, Sr. and Don M. Head.
