Vera G. Kuckelheim, 91 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Aurora, Ohio. Vera was God’s Gift to Us on July 18, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Emery and Edna (Schultz) Chappell. A lifetime resident of Bainbridge Township, she was a founding member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church where she devoted herself to serving in numerous ways. During the war, she had been employed at Nela Park in Cleveland. Vera enjoyed Rug Hooking, Cross Stitching, as well as traveling. Survivors include her children Bill Mooney of Bainbridge Township, Karl (Jennifer Jacobson) Kuckelheim of Bainbridge Township and Sandy Money of Streetsboro. 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive. Vera was preceded in death by her first husband William Joseph Mooney, her second husband Louie C. Kuckelheim, and her son David A. Kuckelheim. Funeral services for Mrs. Kuckelheim will be Monday July 22, 2019 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 17989 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023 at 11:00 A.M., where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of her service. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Henderson. Final resting place will follow at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Chagrin Falls.
