Patti Jane Carson, 57 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at Ravenna, Ohio. Patti was God’s Gift to Us on May 8, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Jack Irwin and Diane Jane (Hamlett) Carson. A resident of the Mantua area since 1979, she formerly resided in Garfield Hts. Ohio and was a 1979 graduate of Garfield Hts. High School. Patti had been employed as a legal secretary at Squires, Sanders & Dempsey Law Offices, and then as  Admissions Marketing Director at several nursing facilities. She had been a 4-H Advisor for the Creatures N Features Dog Training, and found great pride in her daughters accomplishments which she shared with everyone. A member of His Ministry, Patti was involved with the Gospel Team Ministry of her church, as well as playing the violin, singing and sharing her faith of the Lord with family and friends. She also did scrap booking for the church, and crafts with many children. Cherished memories of Patti’s love of the Lord and family will always be remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted daughters Cora Joy Carson of Stow and Emma Jane Carson of Akron; her loving parents Jack Irwin (Paula) Carson of Bainbridge Township, and Diane J. (Norman ) Vanden Bergh of Cave Junction, Oregon; dear siblings Jack Robert (Susan) Carson of Bainbridge Twp., Jeffery David (Lesa) Carson of Mantua, Jennifer Ann Carson of Concord, Ohio, Kimberly Ann LaFrenais of Old Saybrook, CT., Annalee Sue Patterson of Brentwood, CA., Holly Lynn Sartain of Big Lake, MN., Kelly Kalat Rich of Union, Kentucky and Kathryn Kalat Taylor of Glencoe, Kentucky. 5 nieces and 2 nephews also survive.  Calling hours will be Sunday September 16, 2018 at His Ministry, 3051 State Route 82, Aurora, Ohio 44202 from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. where her Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Atkins. Graveside burial service will be Monday September 17, 2018 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Township, Ohio. Procession to the cemetery will form at the church at 9:30 A.M.
