   Kenneth J Wolf, 77 years of age, was able to rest in peace on July 30, 2017 after living with ALS for a year.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents Anne (Gonczy) and Richard P Wolf.  He was a graduate of Brush High School and Case Institute of Technology.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years Alice Ann Lee (Herbert), their three children: Scott (Beth - Nathan, Leah, Zach) of Aurora, Ohio, Rick (Sandra - Michelle, Eric) of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, and Janice (Nels - Dagny, Oliver) Stromborg of Chicago, Illinois.  

   Ken was a professional engineer who worked at Herron Testing Laboratories for over 30 years in environmental testing before founding his consulting firm, Wolf Technical Services, focusing on failure analysis.  

   Ken lived in Aurora, Ohio for 50 years.  He contributed to the up-keep of Four Seasons Park and Lake for over 30 years, was the starter for their swim team, a long time member of the ASM Akron Chapter and served on its Executive Committee.  He served on the Western Reserve Cable Consortium as Aurora’s representative, represented the city on the PARTA board, and served on Aurora’s Civil Service Commission.

   Ken was a "consummate home project engineer and handyman," an avid attendee of the Cleveland City Club, enjoyed woodworking, reading, watching and discussing politics and doing crossword puzzles.  

   A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at The Church In Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora, Ohio 44202.  The family will greet friends at a light reception in Fellowship Hall following the service.  A family graveside ceremony will precede the Memorial Service.

   The family is appreciative of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of ALS who provided pertinent information, the caring staff at Independence Village of Aurora, the support of The Church in Aurora members and the caretakers from Crossroads Hospice who attended and supported Ken and the family.
