Kathryn E. Hutchings, 84 years of age, passed away Friday June 1, 2018 at her residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kopcsik) Toth. Kathryn grew up in Bainbridge, and was a 1952 graduate of Kenston High School. A resident of Garrettsville the past 20 years, she was a homemaker, and also had been employed for several years as a waitress at Hunters Hollow in Chagrin Falls. Kathryn loved being outdoors enjoying nature, watching the birds, and took great pride in gardening. Also an avid reader, she was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians. Her family was very important, and the cherished memories of her love for them, and their love for her will forever be a part of their lives. She is survived by her devoted children Dennis (Nancy) Hutchings of Garrettsville, Kevin (Vielka) Hutchings of Mantua, Donna (Russ) Runevitch of Aurora and Karen (John) Divis of Mooresville, North Carolina; her dear siblings Ed (Nancy) Toth of Willowick, Ohio, Frank (Janet) Toth of Ravenna, Joe (Sheila) Toth of Chagrin Falls, and Andrew Toth of Shreveport, Lousiana; 7 loving grandchildren and 2 loving great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her dear sisters Ethel Stanton, Eleanor Miller, Mary Turner and Dorothy Kinford. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
