Connie S. Echelberry

October 26, 1945 ~ July 14, 2019 (age 73)


Connie S. Echelberry, 73 years of age, passed away Sunday July 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 26, 1945, the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha (McAdam) Ryan. A 1963 graduate of West Jefferson High School, she had been a Mantua area resident the past 49 years. Connie was well known as an educational aide at Crestwood Schools, retiring in 2006 after 25 years of faithful service. While her cooking and baking skills will always be remembered, it was the “ Little Things” that she did to make everyone feel special that will forever be part of the lives of those who loved her. An avid Ohio State football and basketball fan, her enthusiasm was often displayed for those teams. On August 1, 1970, she married her beloved husband Ronald S. Echelberry who survives at their home. She is also survived by her devoted daughters Kerri (Matthew) Bigler of Mantua and Kristi (Thomas) McKenney of Milford, Ohio; dear siblings Michael (Wendy) Ryan and Mary Ann Ryan both of Ohio, and Mark (Carrie) Ryan of Indiana. Her loving grandchildren Alexandra, Karli, Ryan, Jack, Kaylie and Kelsey, and great-grandchild Jeffrey also survive. Calling hours will be Wednesday July 17, 2019 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., where her funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Chad Delaney. Final resting place will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Township, Ohio following cremation.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Connie’s family would like to thank everyone who provided the continued loving care for their wife, mother, grand-mother prior to her passing.
