Thomas Schlegelmilch, 54 years of age of Aurora, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2010 at his residence.  Tom was born in Chardon, Ohio on July 17, 1955, the son of the late Ralph J. and Margaret M. (Voyticky) Schlegelmilch.  A longtime Portage County area resident, he had lived in Aurora since 2004.  He was a graduate of Crestwood School System in 1973.  Tom was employed as an auditor and then as a machinist in Oregon for many years.  Survivors include his brothers Jerry (Janice) Schlegelmilch of Ravenna and Rick (Donna) Schlegelmilch of Bedford, Texas, his sister Jan (Frank) Smith of Wasco, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Jo Stace in 2004.  No calling hours.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Tom will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram.  Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
