AURORA - Theodore F. Havel, Sr., 81 years of age, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Havel was born on March 29, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Theodore R. and Jewel Havel.  A resident of Aurora the past 32 years, he was a longtime employee of Carlon Products in the sales department. He enjoyed and was an avid golfer. On September 19, 1959, he married Joan (Marshall) Havel who survives at their residence. Also surviving are his sons Theodore F. (Jeanne) Havel, Jr. and John F. (Tatsyana) Havel both of Hudson, Ohio, his daughter Laura A. (Douglas W. ) Irish of Green, Ohio, his sister Joan Friedman of New York, his loving grandchildren Jeffrey, Cassandra, Shane, Reed, Blake and Lauren and his great-grandson Mason, as well as his beloved dog Anna. The family of Mr. Havel would like to extend a special thank you to Jacqui Pruszynski, his massage therapist for her wonderful care. Funeral services for Mr. Havel will be held Thursday December 8, 2011 4:30 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua with the Rev. Fr. James Daprile of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Aurora officiating. Following the services, calling hours will be from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
