Richard E. Duke

Richard Earl Duke, 73 years of age, passed away Monday December 20, 2011 at his residence. Born on February 22, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Earl M. and Eva R. (Wetherell)) Duke. Formerly of Streetsboro and California, he was a resident of Brunswick the past 10 years. Mr. Duke was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed until his retirement from Pattern Metals in Bedford, Ohio as a mold maker. Mr. Duke enjoyed tracking the stock market, yet his family and granddaughter Marybeth will always remember him for making limeinaide and the special times he looked for treasures for Marybeth. Survivors include his sons Eric (Heidi) Duke and Robert B. Duke both of Streetsboro, sisters Ethel Zingale of Streetsboro and Marti Phillips of Bainbridge Township and his loving granddaughter Marybeth Duke of Streetsboro. No calling hours or services. Mr. Duke will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
