Patricia A. Koslosky


RAVENNA    Patricia A. Koslosky 69 years of age, a Resident of the Ravenna-Shalersville area the past 60 years, passed away Thursday March 5,2009at her residence.  Born on November 19,1939 in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Margaret (Berchin) Samec.  A homemaker, Mrs. Koslosky was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua.  An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, her most enjoyable times were those spent with her children, grandchildren and other family members. On September 15,1955 she married Kenneth T. Koslosky, Sr. who survives at their home. Her children Kenny Koslosky and Steve Koslosky both of Ravenna, Eddie (Tina) Koslosky of Kent and Lisa (Don) Kramer of Mantua, as well as 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers Edward (Marcia) Samec of Streetsboro, Donald (Betty) Kadusky, and Steven (Helen) Kadusky both of Twinsburg and sisters Louise (Robert) Koslosky, Sr. of Mantua and Sherry Glemba of Ellsworth, Pennsylvania also survive.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah A. "Debbie" Tayerle in 2002.  Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where a prayer service will be Monday at 12:15 P.M.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday March 9, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua with the Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Mrs. Koslosky will be carried to her place of rest in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township by pallbearers EdwardSamec, Jr. Donald Kramer, Ken Koslosky, Jr., Gregory Koslosky, Robert KosloskyJr., Brian Tayerle, Erick Janson and Timothy Christopher.  Family and friends are invited to return to the family residence following the interment services.
