Martin L. Mehrl, 68 years of age, passed away Wednesday September 29, 2010 at his residence in Garrettsville. Born on October 11, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was the son of the late Stefan and Ruby (Riley) Mehrl, II. A longtime Portage County resident, he had lived in Garrettsville the past 9 years. Mr. Mehrl had been employed as a repairman for A.T. &T, was a U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed working in his yard. Survivors include his brother Stefan (Margaret J.) Mehrl, III of Wiscassett, Maine and his sister Carolyn (Charles) McClintock of Bainbridge Township. No calling hours. Mr. Mehrl is being laid to rest at Aurora City Cemetery following a private family service. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
