Margaret M. Schlegelmilch 83 years of age of Aurora passed away Friday February 13, 2009 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. Born on June 25, 1926 in Beauty, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Stevenish) Voyticky. A homemaker, Mrs. Schlegelmilch was a resident of Aurora since 1976. For several years she was a volunteer at both Geauga Community Hospital and Robinson Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Schlegelmilch enjoyed making afghans for her family and friends as a pastime. On December 10, 1947, she married Ralph J. Schlegelmilch who preceded her in death in 1982. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Mary Jo Stace in 2004, brothers, Joe and Charles Voyticky and her sister, Agnes Kotzman. Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Janice) Schlegelmilch of Ravenna, Rick (Donna) Schlegelmilch of Bedford,Texas, Tom Schlegelmilch of Aurora and her daughter, Jan (Frank) Smith of Wasco, Illinois; her sister, Genevieve Harting of Hudson; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where funeral services will be Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Final resting place for Mrs. Schlegelmilch will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hiram. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Robinson Memorial Hospital Visiting Nurse-Hospice.
