RAVENNA

Jeffrey H. Groves, 51 years of age, passed away Friday August 5, 2011 at his residence. Born on December 9, 1959 in Ravenna, he was the son of the late Jesse and Nina (Schoolcraft) Groves.Formerly of Windham, he had been a resident of the Ravenna area since 2000 and was employed as a laborer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include his brother Rodger (Terri) Groves of Kent, sisters Nadine Hicks and Sharon Workman both of Ravenna and Sandra (Richard) Taylor of Chardon. No calling hours or services. A private burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
