Helen Ryan
MANTUA
Helen M. Ryan, 94 years of age, passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born on November 29, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Helen V. (Thrombly) Johnson. Formerly of Mississippi, she was a Mantua area resident since 2004. Mrs. Ryan was retired from Pick & Pay Supermarket in Cleveland where she was a butcher. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her late husband, used her artistic skills doing drawings of animals and was a person who was always giving to family and friends. She is survived by her sons Thomas (Patricia) Ryan of Mantua and Robert (Patricia) Ryan of Jackson, Mississippi; a brother Edward of Michigan and sister Caroline of South Carolina, and her three grandchildren Kim, Ricky and Joe. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
