Dorothy D. Albaneze, 81 years of age, passed away Tuesday February 1, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born on November 7, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Anne (Petrosky) O’Melenik. A resident of Northfield the past 5 years, she formerly resided in Jacksonville, Florida. A homemaker, Mrs. Albaneze enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. Survivors include her devoted children John (Barbara) Albaneze of Streetsboro and Joanne Albaneze of Northfield, her brother William (Mary) Suckash of Watseka, Illinois and 4 loving grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John K. Albaneze in 2001 and brothers Kenneth and Victor O’Melenik and sister Dorothy Miller. No calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday February 7, 2011 10:00 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Streetsboro with Rev. Pat Ferraro officiating. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
