MANTUA

David M. Disman, 61 years of age, passed away Friday March 4, 2011 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts., Ohio. Born on March 17, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late David and Mary (Smith) Disman. Formerly of Parma, Ohio, he was a graduate of Parma Senior High, and had been a resident of the Mantua area the past 30 years. Mr. Disman was employed  as a mechanic for 33 years at LTV Steel, then as a truck driver for 8 years at Giant Eagle. He was a member of Local No. 507, and a man who will always be remembered as a dedicated hard worker in any work he did. On October 23, 1971, he married Victoria T. (Sell) Disman who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children Robert Disman and Stephanie Phifer both of Mantua and Danyelle (Michael) Ventura of Stow and his granddaughter Ashley Riddle. Calling hours will be Thursday  March 10, 2011 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.  at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service  in Mantua.
