Mantua - Charlotte Jarjabka 84 years of age of Mantua passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at her residence in Mantua. Mrs.Jarjabka was born on July 9, 1924 in Osterode, Germany the daughter of the late Otto and Marie (Neumann) Moody.  Formerly of Cleveland, she had been a longtime Mantua-Shalersville area resident, and was employed for 25 years as a secretary for the Crestwood School System, retiring in 1990.  Mrs. Jarjabka was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua. Survivors include her sons, John of Warren, Pennsylvania, James (Rita) of Charlotte, N.C., Thomas Gene of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Steve of Raleigh, N.C.; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil in 1990 and her brother, Robert Moody.  No calling hours. A private family graveside funeral service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville with the Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Aurora Library in her name. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
