MIDDLEFIELD - Ben Sebor, 6 years of age, Geauga County Sheriff’s Canine Officer Badge No. 2844-K-9, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, November 12, 2010, in the loving arms of his partner Deputy Brian Sebor.  Ben was born on March 30, 2004. Ben was trained and certified as narcotics, aggression, and tracking officer.  In 2008, he was honored as the top tracking canine officer, and has faithfully served the residents of Geauga County in the field of law enforcement, as well as being involved in community service, having been active with his partner in adult, youth and senior citizen programs. While his passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who have come to know and love him, let his life be an inspiration to not only the present law enforcement  community and residents of Geauga County and surrounding communities, but to future generations. Ben is survived by his devoted partner Deputy Brian Sebor of Middlefield; his other tracking officers Midge, Phantom and Marko of the Geauga County Sherriff’s Department, and all those whose lives he has touched.
