Alan R. “Ricky” Parmenter, 51 years of age, passed away Saturday June 11, 2011 at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance, Ohio. Born in Ravenna, Ohio on May 3, 1960, he was the son of Richard A. and Shirley (McCan) Parmenter. A lifetime resident of the Kent and Ravenna areas, he had been employed as a laborer and handyman. Ricky enjoiyed cooking and taking casual rides and was always willing to help a friend repair anything needed. Survivors include his father Richard A. Parmenter of Ravenna, his mother Shirley Potter of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, brothers Kenneth Verbus of Ravenna andReue Verbus of Washington State and Deby his sweetheart. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
