Jean Taylor, 57 years of age, passed away Tuesday September 26, 2017 at her residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 2, 1959, she was the daughter of Frank and Virginia ( Tipping ) Schultz. A lifetime Mantua resident, Jean was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua. She had been employed in customer service at Samuel Moore & Company for 34 years, and presently at Empire Die Casting in Macedonia the past 3 years. Jean was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan, yet lasting memories of her love for family, and their love for her, will forever be remembered. There also was a very special place in her heart for her “grandbaby “, and all who knew Jean will always remember the kindness and compassion that she had for animals. On March 24, 1979, Jean married her beloved husband Tris G. Taylor who preceded her in death on September 26, 2013. Also preceding in 1978 was her loving father Frank Schultz. Jean is survived by her devoted children Tait Taylor of Mantua and Tricia ( Sean ) Speck of Streetsboro; her loving mother Virginia Schultz of Mantua; her dear siblings Frank Schultz of Stow, John ( Annabel )Schultz of Washington, D.C., Kevin ( Ruth ) Schultz of Salt Lake City, Utah, twin sister Joan ( Mike ) McCauley of Mantua, Cathy ( Rick ) Porter of Ravenna and Karen ( Jeff ) Lewis of Streetsboro; her dear 4-legged child Bailey; and her cherished grandbaby Emery Speck. No calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday October 2, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua, Ohio 44255 with Rev. Edward Stafford officiating. A private family burial will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery Mantua Township, Ohio. All friends and family are invited to a luncheon at the Mantua Village Lodge on East High Street to begin at 12:00 Noon.
